Some questions people ask are below provided with the answer.

Are you going to kill the raccoon?
Anytime we can release a raccoon into its habitat, we will. If the animal needs to be put down for one reasion or another, it will be done humanely, and professionaly.

Why do I have raccoons in my house?
Cat doors are one reasion they get in the home, to raid the kitchen or pet food bowls. But most often the female chose the home for shelter. She wants to raise the young near food or water source. So make sure you have your home maintained well, and a secure chimney cap. Pick up all fallen fruit, and bring in dog or cat food before dark.

Is raccoon removal dangerous?
It sure can be if you dont do it correctly. Our raccoon removal specialists do this every day, and are very good at it. Putting too much stress on the raccoon can cause her to attack! Ive seen a 20 pound raccoon kill a 40 pound dog!

When are raccoons active?
Mainly a nocturnal animal, how ever on an overcast day they may be out and about. Bright light hurts there eyes.

What do they eat?
Fish, shell fish, fruit, nuts, small rodents, and left overs out of a trash can. They will eat pet food, worms and grubbs out of your yard, leaving it a mess.

800-714-8727 Bat Control, Removal, Trapping in Wisconsin, Mississippi, Saint Louis Mo., Florida, New York

We here at Anytime Animal Control do not recomend that you atempt to exclude bats without professional help. It takes a trained eye and a seasioned professional who knows where the bats are entering a building. Most bats can enter through a space where you can fit a book of matches. And a building must be physicaly inspected inch by inch. We here do not trap bats unless research calls for it. Instead, we evict them using exclusion programs and then bat proof the home. Needed repairs are done to the structure at that point and a guano removal process is schedualed.
Typical homes with bats are 75 plus years old. Wood starts to rot and shrink, and bats find the way in to the new bat hotel. Anywhere from one bat to thousnds can be inside. It all depends on the species and gender. So home maintainance will help you avoid needing a bat removal specialist.

800-714-8727 Bat Guano Clean Ups Start In Southern California- Wisconsin- New York- Mississippi- Saint Louis

Anytime Animal Control is an animal dammage control company comited to educating the public about the damage and dangers of urban wildlife. If you found this imformation usefull, leave a coment. If you would like a wildlife professional to take the matter off your hands, call 800-714-8727 for an apointment.
When the comon little brown bats set up a nursery in your walls or attic, there could be thousands of them. In early November we start cleaning up homes which have had the colonies of bats humalely removed. Safety is our point of topic today. Bat guano is as good as gold for keeping things green, not the case for humans. Bat guano is mde up of the exo skelitons of insects, and no fiber. When pressure is aplied to a dropping it quickly turns to powder. A mouse dropping has plenty of fiber and just flattens out. This means that all you need to do is disturb the bat droppings to make them airborne. Now you are at risk of several illnesses caused by the dust. It can make you go blind if you get it in your eyes, or afect the heart/lungs by breathing it. To remove the issue, 100% eye protection is required. Also a hepa filter is needed for breathing protection. Hepa filters on suction equipment is also required. Removal of bat guano must be treated similar to asbestos. Insultion must be removed and afected structural parts of the home must be cleaned and sanitised. Protection of non smooth surfaces should be covered with plastic sheeting.
Removal of bat guano is extremely dirty work, but needed after the bat colony is humanely removed, for the safety of you and yours

Feral/Stray Cat Control Los Angeles- Orange - San Diego

Anytime Animal Control is a company comited to helping people with wildlife problems. Go to anytimeanimalcontrol.com to see a list of our services.
Sometimes well meaning people feel that they are doing the right thing when its really causing a problemfor every one else on the block. Feeding feral (stray) cats because they may be hungry just draws in more cats to feed. I’ve had jobs with as many as 19 feral cats to trap in one yard in San Diego. Most were in ill health. By company policy, no feral cats be euthanised.chase and kill for fun, rather than just for food. Several species of wildlife are extinct in Western Austrailia now because if a cat population left unchecked. They kill more than mice and rats, song birds and rabbits are on the list too! Not to mention these animals have no vaccinations, and are prone to some pretty ugly illnesses, and paracites. If you have a neighbor, please share this with them. It may seem like you aren’t doing as much as one person, but as they say, inch by inch, life is synch!
Keeping feral cats out of the yard can be easy, of difficult. It depends why they are there. They will come in and lay down under the bushes to escape the heat of the day, to use community toilet areas, to eat, or just because it’s a nice place to relax.
So now you need to change the environment to take the elements away which they seek. As stated before, no feeding cats.
Up keep on the house is important too, to keep them from living under it. Every year customers need cats removed from under the home when they could have been pro active and had a screen replaced and avoided the problem all together.
Trim the bushes so they are 2 feet from the ground, and don’t give them anywhere else to rest peacefully. Keep the garage door closed unless you need it open.
If the cats are using your yard for toilette, installing a scarecrow motion sprinkler may get them to choose some where else. Trapping cats is also an effective way to reduce population/ control stray cats.
I hope these tips help you with your feral /stray cat issues in los ageles orange or san diego. If the problem is so far out of control tha you would like help, feel free to call 800-714-8727 to set up an apointment, and please feel free to visit our website for a list of services we offer anytimeanimalcontrol.com

Skunk Control Los Angeles - Orange - San Diego

Anytime Animal Control is a full time animal damage control company. We service Los Angeles county, Orange county, and San Diego county. If a skunk problem is what you feel to be out of control, give us a call at 800-714-8727 and schedual an apointment with an expert. Skunk control in urban areas such as los angeles, orange county, or san diego, can be a touchy subject. Many people are experiancing the fragrance mr. le pew has left behind. How ever, no one wants to be the bad guy and have the animal put down. We here at Anytime Animal Control will get the job done fast, keeping the welfare of the skunk in mind.
Skunk control in metro areas begins with what the skunk is there for. Shelter, Food, Water, are the big three. Make it all go away and the animal will choose to move on, most of the time.
But if you do find yourself face to face with a skunk, STOP! and don’t move. They can’t see realy well, and if you don,t scare the skunk, it may very well just keep going. If I move slowly, and dont scare a skunk, I can pick up the cage and walk with it. How ever in the spring, babies will blast over nd over again. Its the adults with trigger control on the musk gland. I guess they dont like it any better than we do. Keep peroxide and dish soap handy. If the dog gets hit, Just mix a bottle of peroxide with 4 ounces of dish soap and use it like shampoo, rinse it out and repeat.
Now it is November- and Skunks will be scrambeling for food, even though los angeles - orange - and san diego counties dont realy get cold, they will be storing fat for the winter, a time when food is less available. keep those food bowls inside and the fruit off the ground.
